Nikki Bellis, LMT
Nikki Bellis, LMT is an Oregon transplant originally from the Bay Area of California. She has been interested in topics like Anatomy, Biology, and Homeopathy her entire life and found her calling in massage therapy after experiencing a bike accident a few years ago that left her with decreased mobility in her shoulder. Massage therapy not only helped heal her bodily injuries but it also helped relax the state of her mind after the lingering stress of the accident. Her healing experience was something she wished to give back to others in need, and is what inspired her to study at East West College of the Healing Arts, in Portland, OR.
“I believe that it is our body’s intuitive nature to continuously work to combat the stressors of life to maintain a healthy and balanced connection between our mental space and our physical beings. The mind-body connection is a strong one but life can sometimes feel tougher, it is when that natural balance gets out of whack and the body has trouble relaxing that I step in to assist! My role as a massage therapist is to identify the unique ways we each hold stress within our bodies, and to assist in releasing that stress so the body and mind can continue their healing process.”
Nikki offers relaxation-based massage that is specifically catered to each client’s needs and utilizes elements of deep tissue massage, stretching and mobilization, facilitated breathing, aromatherapy and craniosacral techniques.
