Jen Kearns, LAc
Jen Kearns MS, LAc is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Oregon and board-certified in Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Jen’s love for Chinese medicine and the cultivation of health dates back to her teens, and continues to be nourished by the influx of new research and patient experience. She uses acupuncture, herbs and adjunctive modalities such as massage, nutritional analysis, movement therapy, cupping, joint manipulation, gua sha and moxibustion to serve in a general family practice.
Jen received her BFA from New York University, Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree from Touro College in NYC and is currently completing a doctoral degree. She has additional in-patient hospital experience in the departments of Oncology, Neuro-Ortho Rehabilitation, General Medicine and Labor and Delivery. She is certified in Zheng Gu Tui Na (medical massage) and bone setting, Holistic Pelvic Care TM and has advanced training in dermatology, pediatrics, perinatal health, allergies and autoimmune disorders.
In her free time, you can find Jen involved in all sorts of DIY home projects, studying qi gong and meditation, playing in the garden, experimenting in the kitchen with cooking and fermentation, or exploring around town with her kids.
