2012 Classes & Workshops
"Going Grain Free"
If you haven’t already heard, many people are cutting grains out of their diet for weight loss, digestive support and improved energy. This class will outline the grain-free diet, when it may be useful, health risks versus benefits and recipes for getting started. If you’ve wanted to go grain-free, this is a class you won’t want to miss!
Presented by Dr. Rachel Sterry, both classes are conveniently offered at two New Seasons Markets locations:
Happy Valley: Thursday, January 19,
7-8:30 pm
- Seven Corners: Wednesday, March 14,
7-8:30 pm
All classes are free and open to the public. New Seasons classes require registration, please call: 503-517-9851 to reserve your seat.

Community Events
We had a good time and made some new young friends at Impact Northwest's 2nd Annual Health & Wellness Resource Fair at the Brentwood-Darlington Community Center, on May 27th. We'll be back next year!

The mission of Impact Northwest is to help people achieve and maintain self-sufficiency and prevent and alleviate the effects of poverty. At the Fair, children age birth - 5 received free wellness exams, as well as dental exams, lead testing and nutritional advice.
