Woodstock Natural Health Clinic

Woodstock Natural Health Clinic is the office of Dr. Petra Caruso, licensed naturopathic physician. Dr. Caruso is dedicated to helping you discover the underlying cause of your symptoms and helping to remove the obstacles to cure. This allows your body to regain balance, necessary for true healing to occur.

Dr. Caruso is a graduate of the National College of Natural Medicine, and a Portland native. She resides in SE Portland, in a 1906 farmhouse not far from her birthhome.  In her free time she enjoys long walks through the woods with her husband John and their two dogs: Stella and Hattie.

Michael Northrop joined Woodstock Natural Health Clinic in the fall of 2007.  Fascinated by the body’s innate ability to heal, Michael believes that doctors can best promote the health of their patients by taking a holistic approach to medicine during patient care.  His interest in natural medicine has led him to Portland State University where he is currently getting his pre-medical requirements. 

Michael assists at the clinic with the goal of eventually becoming a naturopathic doctor.  Michael graduated from Bowdoin College in 2004 with an English degree.  When not working or studying, he enjoys teaching kayaking and taking advantage of the abundant outdoor opportunities of the Northwest.
